Bishop Titus Mdoe
The Auxiliary Bishop of Dar es salaam Rt Rev Titus Mdoe has asked the Catholic media as well as secular media practitioners to strongly promote campaign against abortion.

Speaking during the Holy Mass at the opening of the annual meeting of pro-life association members in Dar es Salaam, Bishop Mdoe said that media, both catholic and secular have an important part to play in the protection of innocent lives.

“Tanzanians should shun all foreign influences that do not respect the dignity of life,” he said adding that “human life is sacred right away from conception.”

The chairman of pro-life association Emil Hagamu said that it is very unfortunate that the conscience of many people in the society today is silent on this issue. “Foreign influences cannot in anyway justify abortion nor change our traditional human values,” he said.
