Chipata Director, Fr. Bernard Zulu, has emphasized the importance of citizens

Fr. Zulu stressed that every citizen
must engage with those in authority when things are not going well,also calling on politicians to accept
criticism and constructive feedback.
"No one is perfect in
everything," he noted, highlighting the need for humility and openness to
improvement.
The Caritas Director also urged
leaders to prioritize laws that promote the well-being and dignity of citizens,
rather than those that infringe on human rights.
He encouraged Christians to focus on
God's teachings and support laws that promote the common good.
His statements come at a time when
Zambia is grappling with various social and political issues, and his words are
seen as a call to action for citizens to engage with their leaders and promote
positive change.
Fr. Zulu was speaking during his
sermon at St. Atanazio Outstation in Mchini.
