The Auxiliary Bishop of the Catholic Archdiocese of Juba warned citizens against division in the country.

He cautioned that the division has a diverse negative impact on citizens and called on South Sudanese to forget the past and love one another.
In a separate occasion, South Sudan Constitutional Review Commission chairperson called on the church to increase its role in raising awareness on the constitutional review process.
Akolda Maan Tier underscored the role played by the Church during the liberation struggle in fighting without guns and its significant influence that led to peace.
He told the religious leaders in Juba that Church played a very big role in advocacy and lobbying public opinion during the liberation struggle and that it should continue to play bigger role in enlightening the public on the Constitution review.
Professor Tier said the Commission is currently involved in wider public consultations on the Constitution amendment.
