The Holy Father Pope Francis has appointed Archbishop Luigi Bianco, Apostolic Nuncio in Ethiopia, as Apostolic Nuncio in Djibouti and at the same time serving as Apostolic Delegate in Somalia.
Information released by Vatican on Wednesday, 10th September 2014 said Archbishop Luigi Bianco takes over as Apostolic Nuncio to Djibouti and Apostolic Delegate to Somalia from Archbishop George Panikulam who on June 14th, 2014 was appointed Apostolic Nuncio to Uruguay.
Archbishop Luigi Bianco was born on 3rd March 1960 in Montemagno Italy, and was ordained a priest in March 1985.
In January 2009, He was appointed Apostolic Nuncio to Honduras and in July 2014 Apostolic Nuncio to Ethiopia.
