A student at Bishop Caesar Mazzolari Memorial Secondary School, Johnson Majok Magol, has urged fellow learners to continue studying despite the lockdown directive in the country.
He advised fellow learners to use this time to revise their notes and not to use it on leisure, Good News Radio reported.
Paul Kejang Yuen, a teacher at St Daniel Comboni Primary School also warned that there will be drop out of some students as they are planning other things which make them forget studies during the Coronavirus pandemic.
The government was expected to lift the partial lockdown on Monday. However, during a Tuesday night meeting in Juba, the national taskforce on COVID-19 announced their decision to extend it indefinitely.
The two made their remarks during a Radio Talk show on Good News Radio on Saturday in Rumbek.
