On Catholic Campus Ministry and Youth Biblical Apostolate the coordinators resolved to strengthening of Youth Ministry at various levels and making it a common program at various levels in the AMECEA Countries.
On the third and final priority of creation of Platform for Inter – Religious Dialogue in the AMECEA Countries the coordinators saw the rising need for promotion of peaceful co-existence, tolerance and sharing of common vision on issues affecting the pluralistic and multi-religious society today. Thus, they have thought of creating a platform for capacity building and educating Catholics on other religions and how to dialogue in line with teachings of the Church.
Fr. Pikiti said that AMECEA Pastoral department was entrusted with the responsibility of working on the proposed document that will be shared with all the national Pastoral Coordinators who in turn will ensure that the document reaches the dioceses.
Fr. Pikiti said the National Pastoral Coordinators committed themselves to implement these three Key pastoral priorities, which they deemed appropriate for period of three years starting in the year 2014 and ending in 2016.
