| Most Rev. Menghesteab Tesfamariam, Archbishop of Asmara |
The Holy Father Pope Francis has on Saturday 27 June appointed Most Rev Menghesteab Tesfamariam of Asmara, Eritrea a member of the Congregation for the Oriental Churches.
According to the Vatican Information services (VIS) Archbishop Menghesteab is among the 5 members appointed by the Holy Father.
These include Cardinal Peter Erdo, archbishop of Esztergom-Budapest, Hungary; Cardinal Thomas Christopher Collins, archbishop of Toronto, Canada; Cardinal Ricardo Blazquez Perez, Archbishop of Valladolid, Spain and Archbishop Fulop Kocsis of Hajdugorog for Catholics of Byzantine Rite, Hungary.
