of Churches were in Addis Ababa to attend a two-day peace mission in search of peace in the country.
Upon his arrival at Juba International Airport on Thursday 16 April 2015, Archbishop Lukudu told Radio Bakhita that the main agenda discussed was on how to bring peace to the country.
He said that the church considers that citizens must be the starting point of the whole process.
Archbishop Lukudu asked the warring parties to immediately stop fighting for people to realize peace and reconciliation in the country.
“The Church decided to play a serious role in the upcoming negotiations,” he said adding that “The Church in South Sudan also needs peace and reconciliation.”
