A Zambian priest in the Chipata Diocese has called on the faithful to always be willing to listen to God's voice and accept change.
In his homily during morning Mass at
St. Anne's Cathedral Parish, Fr. Mark Mwanza, who is also the Education
Secretary of the Chipata Diocese, delivered a powerful message of hope and
transformation, saying God is eager to bring about change in individuals'
lives, but people must be willing to listen to His voice.
"The problem is that people are
not hearing the voice of God, and they are not preaching the gospel of Jesus
Christ," Fr. Mwanza said.
He stressed that God wants every
person to change, but they must first submit their problems to Him.
Fr. Mwanza encouraged the congregation
to seek a personal relationship with God, saying it is high time people found
time to listen to the word of God, rather than listening to the many voices of
the world.
He added that God desires to speak to
each person privately to bring about transformation and change.
Fr. Mwanza's message was a call to
action, urging individuals to reflect on their lives and seek guidance from
God.
The congregation was left with a sense
of hope and renewal, inspired by Fr. Mwanza's words to seek a deeper connection
with their faith and with God. They felt a strong sense of unity and shared
purpose in their journey of faith.
End.
