| Rt. Rev. Prosper Lyimo, Auxiliary Bishop of Arusha |
The Archdiocese of Arusha on Sunday 15th February will get an Auxiliary Bishop after the ordination of Bishop elect Rt. Rev Prosper Lyimo Francisco at St. Teresa of the Child Jesus Cathedral, Arusha.
According to Communication Coordinator for Arusha, Apolinary Shiyo all necessary preparations have been done and the Archdiocese has been expecting to receive guests right away from the beginning of the week. A total of 500 guests are expected to attend the celebration, including government and leaders of political parties.
Bishop elect was born on 20 August 1964 in Kilema and after his seminary formation he was ordained a priest on 4 July 1997. Until his appointment Bishop was a Diocesan Secretary.
