Tanzania Episcopal Conference (TEC) is set to host a conference on Marriage and Family in view of strengthening Lay Apostolate in the region.

The conference, which is organized by AMECEA in collaboration with TEC will be held at Kurasini centre, Dar es salaam from 25 -30 November, 2014.
The conference aims at looking for the broader perspective of the spirituality challenges experienced by couples, families and view of strengthening of family and lay apostolate.
Speaking to AMECEA Online News Fr Febian Pikiti, the AMECEA Pastoral Department Coordinator said all is set with the preparation and that the delegates will start arriving from Monday 24 next week. “60 delegates from the AMECEA member countries are expected to attend the conference,” he said adding that ‘We also expect to get other participants from outside of AMECEA countries.”
AMECEA Online News will issue a special bulletin on Wednesday, 26 November from Dar es salaam for the conference.
