SCBC Vice President Erkulano Lodu Tombe told CRN on 5thSeptember upon arrival from Khartoum that Rome suspended the section for two years due to some challenges that the conference has already addressed.
He said Philosophy is the feeder of theology and its closure might be a stumbling block to theology.
Bishop Lodu expressed fear that expatriates priests in Sudan face difficulties that threaten to weaken faith in Khartoum Archdiocese.
He invited Christians to pray for the Church in Sudan so that the political situation becomes conducive for clergy.
