TANZANIA: TEC Mourns the Death of Fr Paul Haule the Director Tumaini Television

Tanzania Episcopal Conference mourns the death of Fr. Paul Haule died on 18^TH August 2021 at Cardinal Rugambwa Hospital where he was receiving medical treatment.

The Late Fr. Haule was the Director of Tumaini Media including Tumaini Television.

TEC has sent its condolences to the Archbishop of the Catholic Diocese of Dar es Salaam, Rev. Juda Thaddaeus Ruwa'ichi, following the death of Tumaini Media Director, Father Paul Haule.

In the greetings signed by the TEC Secretary General Father Charles Kitima, it was stated that the Conference is saddened by the news of Fr Haule’s death that it recognizes his contribution of evangelizing  through modern communication media.

"The Conference will continue to acknowledge his efforts made specially to promote the scope of TV Tumaini visibility and access. Tumaini TV is the only Catholic TV in Tanzania accessed by all 34 Catholic dioceses in Tanzania. This has helped in deepening evangelization in Tanzania through media. He also made efforts to improve faith-based content for the benefit of the local Church in Tanzania,’ said Fr Kitima.

“Following his death, the Conference joins in prayer with all the faithful in the Archdiocese of Dar es Salaam and all Tanzanians, to pray for the late Father Paul Haule so that God may receive him in heaven, “he continued.

The Late Fr Haule will be laid down on August 24 this year at the Pugu Pilgrimage Center.
