A 54 year-old Muslim on Sunday converted his faith and family members from Islamic to Christian religion at St Mary Parish of Tombura-Yambio Catholic Diocese.
Tombura-Yambio Catholic Bishop Barani Edwardo Hiiboro Kusala welcomed Awad Kisanga Saed together with two of his children to Christianity by baptizing and confirming them, Anisa Radio reported.
Sheik Awad Kisanga Saed became Joseph Kisanga, a 13 year-old son Omer Kisanga, became Moses Kisanga and 20 day-old daughter receives the name Mary Kisanga.
Mr Kisanga expressed joy of being born again by the help of God almighty who made it possible for the Catholic Church community to accept him.
He revealed that he became Muslim at birth on January 5, 1960 until March 2014 when he saw Jesus Christ for the first time in a dream, asking him to deliver all his problems to him, repent and go ahead to do his work in the church.
He appealed to all believers to pray for him to get solution to his polygamous family that was allowed in Islam but forbidden in Catholic Church to reunite with Christ after receiving all Sacraments.
Mr. Kisanga has two Christian wives and seven Muslim children who are converting gradually to Christianity.
