AMECEA in Collaboration with USCCB will conduct a Capacity Building Training Workshop for top Management Staff from all the Catholic Dioceses of the Tanzania Episcopal Conference.
Ms. Christine Mbugi, coordinator of the Capacity Building project at AMECEA says that the one-week training workshop is scheduled to take place from 4th to 9th May 2014 at St. Augustine University Msimbazi Campus in Dar-es-Salaam and St. Augustine University of Tanzania in Mwanza.
“We are carrying out two simultaneous trainings in Dar-es-Salaam and in Mwanza so that we can minimize on the cost of traveling; this is due to the fact that Tanzania Episcopal Conference is very vast with 34 Dioceses,” Ms Mbugi told AMECEA Online New. “Sr. Elizabeth Nduku from CUEA will oversee the technicalities of the training in Mwanza while I remain in Dar-Es-Salaam to do the same,” She said. The training is scheduled for 60 participants.
The training will involve the Vicars General, Diocesan Secretaries, Financial Administrators and other top management staff of the Dioceses.
The ground coordination of the training workshop will be conducted by the St. Augustine University of Tanzania, the Tanzania Episcopal Conference in collaboration with the Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA).
