In his invitation to the celebration, Archbishop Beatus Kinyaiya of Catholic Archdiocese of Dodoma, said that the Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples, His Eminence Fernando Cardinal Filoni will be represented by Archbishop Protase Rugambwa, secretary of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples and President of the Pontifical Missionary Societies.
Bishop Kinyaiya also said that at the ceremony the new apostolic nuncio to Tanzania, Archbishop Marek Solczynski is expected to be introduced officially to the faithful.
According to the issued schedule of the centenary celebration, the arrival date is 13th, August, 2017 while the opening ceremony will be held at St Paul of the Cross Cathedral on 14t, August, 2017 from 8.00 am.
After the celebration of the Holy Mass, participants will have the opportunity to participate in other activities in the seminary.
