The Superiors made the call in their message entitled: Active nonviolence: “A way to build lasting peace in South Sudan” issued after the end of a week workshop on Consecrated Life at Good Shepherd Peace Centre in Kit, of the Catholic Archdiocese of Juba.
They said the Mission of the slain Sister was to save lives and her sacrifice was an action of active nonviolence.
They reaffirmed their commitment to make all efforts to build peace through active non violence.
The Superiors believe that nonviolence is a good way to build a just and lasting peace in South Sudan.
