The International Organization for Migration or IOM says it has posted a rapid response team to provide health service for over fifty-seven thousand people in Yei Town of Equatoria.
Several rounds of fighting and displacements affected populations in Equatoria, IOM confirms through its humanitarian updates. The report further points out that access to needy people outside Yei town remains very limited.
IOM is also assisting displaced families in Mundri East and West with relief items such as blankets, water purification tablets and buckets.
Meanwhile, Episcopal Church Bishop Emmanuel Murye Modi of Kajo-Keji Diocese on Wednesday appealed for humanitarian support to displaced people in the area. He explained that the displaced people in Kajo-Keji lack food, water and shelter.
